Welcome to Somerset Church of the Nazarene. We are glad that you are visiting our website.
Please take your time and look around. If there is anything we can help with, please email us or call the church at 814-445-4444.
Our goal is to reach the lost of Somerset for Jesus. We do that by living the same life outside the church that we live inside the church. We accomplish in 3 ways. We Connect with others, help them to Grow in Christ, and help others to serve in the capacity God has called them to serve. It would be an absolute blessing to have you in one of our services.
If you visit the church, you can expect to be greeted, if you need help finding somewhere to sit, we will help with that too. We offer an atmosphere of worship and listening to God. We do this by singing both more modern worship songs as well as some hymns. Although you will be asked to stand to sing, if you do not feel led to, then you are welcome to stay seated. We will take up an offering during the service. However, you do not need to feel obligated to give unless the Holy Spirit guides you to give.
We offer Discipleship class for the children of the church.
We have a Bible study group that meets at the church on Sunday night at 6 and we have a prayer group that meets at a member's house every other Thursday at 8:30 am.

“We moved to the area last year and Somerset Church of the Nazarene has been our home ever since. Our two kids jump out of the car every Sunday for kids’ worship and Sunday School — the volunteers make everything fun and meaningful. The weekend messages are practical for family life.
“Somerset Church of the Nazarene makes weekends easy for our family. The nursery is caring and reliable, the kid-friendly worship helps our children connect, and the family nights give us time to build friendships. We always feel supported here and appreciate how the staff helps parents stay involved.”
